Recreational vessels are built to specific requirements, depending upon the very specific needs of the owner. For example, one request was for a live on-board tank as the owner has a hobby of diving for tropical fish and wanted to transport them to his home tank.

After spending a year researching and comparing
various RIB options I acquired a 4.8m Naiad built by Kirby Marine.
I was impressed with the people at Kirby Marine who patiently fielded
my never ending questions and invited me to a testing session where
they had various Naiads on hand. I was instantly astonished by the
soft ride of the 4.8m Naiad, its strong construction and fantastic
